Mr. Albert Nsengiyumva is currently the Rwandan Minister of State in charge of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). Before he joined his current portfolio, he served as director of Information and Communication Technology (ICT Center) at the National University of Rwanda from November 1997 to July 2006, director general of Workforce Development Authority (WDA) from January 2010 to May 2011 and minister of Infrastructure from May 2011 to March 2013.
Nsengiyumva is a graduate from the Saint Laurent Institute of Applied Electronics of Liege in Belgium. He also specialized in Industrial Automation from the University of Liege in Belgium. He has several certificates in Information Communication and Technology (ICT), namely in network management and systems administration. He also specialized in ICT regulation at Maryland University and Washington State University in the US.
