Panel: Three Tectonic Plates: Climate, Tech, and Governance—How Philanthropy Can Adapt in an Unstable World
Global funders are often at the forefront of investing in solutions that governments and institutions hesitate to take on or are unable to support—but in today’s world, three tectonic forces are reshaping the landscape: climate change, frontier technologies, and the future of governance. As these forces collide, they are disrupting traditional systems of global cooperation, exposing the limitations of multilateralism, and forcing funders to rethink where and how they invest for impact. As the pace of change accelerates, this session will challenge attendees to rethink their approaches to collaborative funding, adaptive philanthropy, and risk-taking in response to the world’s most pressing challenges.
