About the Global Philanthropy Forum

The Global Philanthropy Forum is a peer-learning network of philanthropists and social investors committed to advancing international causes. Through conferences, programs and matchmaking services, GPF seeks to build a community of philanthropists, and to inform, enable and enhance the strategic nature of its members’ giving and social investing.

The Global Philanthropy Forum was established in 2001 as a project of Commonwealth Club World Affairs, a nonprofit organization that aims to convene thought leaders, change makers, and engaged citizens to learn from one another and effect change. Since then, GPF has helped launch affiliates around the world: the Brazilian Philanthropy Forum and the African Philanthropy Forum were launched to connect indigenous philanthropists and social investors with each other, to build a learning community and to inform and enable the strategic nature of their giving in the countries and regions where they made their wealth.

Please note that we are not a grant-making institution, therefore we are unable to respond to messages soliciting funds. Be advised that anyone asking for money or bank information is not acting on behalf of GPF. This is a scam and a misrepresentation of GPF and the work we do.
