The 2019 Brazilian Philanthropy Forum (BPF) was held on September 12 in San Paulo, Brazil. The theme was “The Power of Communities”. The conference explored what constitutes a community, how to build it, how to enhance it, and how to define it around shared values and interests. BPF touched upon the crisis of trust that compromises partnerships and hampers giving, along with issues of solidarity – that very impulse that fuels philanthropy.
