For over a decade, many have talked about the potential of African economies and the imminent economic boom on the continent. Although there has been exponential growth in the continent’s largest economies, more than half its economies have slowed down. At this year’s conference, delegates discussed the role of philanthropists and social investors in bridging the gap between Africa’s potential and its reality while focusing on collaborative actions to effect this change.
