"Shifting Power, Collective Action'' will be held November 1-2 at the Golden Gate Club in the Presidio of San Francisco. We will explore how the process of democratizing philanthropy relates to broader systemic issues at play in climate, democratic and public health crises we currently face.

The GPF Conference is a space for philanthropists, social investors, and others in the giving community to convene in a peer-learning environment. It will feature as speakers both longstanding and emerging philanthropic and grassroots leaders in a variety of formats.There will be opportunities for GPF participants to learn from and engage with our speakers and one another during plenary panels, workshops, and theme-focused working groups in which to roll up our sleeves and solve problems together. In addition, there will be myriad networking opportunties and additional time for members to meet, collaborate and take action on topics discussed.

At GPF, the person sitting next to you is as informed, engaged and committed as the person on stage. GPF participants come prepared both to teach and learn. There will be plenty of time to assess strategies, share lessons learned, and explore creative partnerships that will advance your social goals.

*All meals will be provided for participants during the conference. Participants are expected to secure their own lodging and transportation to the conference site. Hotel recommendations are listed below.

*Please remember that, in the spirit of creating a safe and open environment for donors, GPF is a no-fundraising zone. 

Cancellations & Waitlist Policy

Conference fees are fully refundable through 10/1/22 and 50% refundable from 10/2/22 - 10/18/22. Conference fees are not refundable after 10/18/22. Conference space is limited. If we are unable to accommodate you at the time of registration, your name will be added to our waitlist and we will contact you if space becomes available. 

Climate change is already here, reshaping our world and causing more extreme weather events. The final UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report makes it clear we're on a fast track to climate disaster if we don't act now. We acknowledge that conference-related activities contributes to rising carbon emissions and we've partnered with Carbon Fund to make #GPF2022 carbon neutral.
