Reproductive rights—having the ability to decide whether and when to have children—are critical to women's socioeconomic well-being and overall health. People all around the world are advocating for safer and more equitable access to these rights, taking to the streets, courts and media to make their voices heard. In response to the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade and revoke the constitutional right to abortion, millions of people across the world marched in solidarity of those women who lost the right to choose.
We have seen how an upswell in public support has made significant changes across the world and the fight for women's reproductive rights will continue to be critical to ensure the health of women around the globe. Join us for a conversation with Dawn Laguens from Planned Parenthood who has been committed to strengthening the connections between the domestic and global movements for over a decade about the importance of social movements and why they can have profound impact. She will share with us more of the life-changing ways Planned Parenthood supports women's health and reproductive rights both at home and abroad.
